• Group P1 & P2: Daily technique classes (Piano) -- Students will enhance their playing abilities through deep learning of how we are using arms, wrists, and hands when we play piano. The teachers will guide you to have correct posture and relaxed form to play piano safely. The main focus of the class is technique, so students will learn a variety of exercises, such as scales, arpeggios, motion in 3rds, 6ths, etc… as part of intensive practicing . (50 mins)

• Group V1 & C1: Daily technique classes (Violin | Cello) -- Students will enhance their playing abilities through deep learning and intensive practicing on both left hand and bow techniques such as vibrato, shifting, finger dexterity, string cross, bow strokes and etc. (50 mins)

• Group V2 & C2: Daily All-Region/ All-State classes (Violin | Cello, high school students only as an alternative to the technique class) – Classes will be conducted by Tong, Yan for Violin and Christopher French for Cello. (50 mins)

• Daily mandatory 1 hour of practice -- there will be teachers watching when students are practicing. (2 or more hours is highly recommended)

• Three ear training & theory classes per week – These skills will help students learn their music more quickly and accurately. These classes will also offer students a deeper understanding and enjoyment of their comprehensive musical experience. 

• Two music history & appreciation classes per week, students will experience different types of music in order to develop a wider and more varied insight into the meaning, emotion, and aesthetics of music

• Musicians' Life Hack class - Sometimes you will find life-saving tips in your life. Well, there are tons of tips the teachers can share in your musical journey. We will cover things like, how to figure out fingering on your own, how to do sight-reading successfully, what are the manners on stage, how to memorize efficiently, etc.

• 1-2 private lessons per week upon request -- Our teachers will work individually with students to help them reach their personal goals in a short period of time. (additional fees will apply)

• Performance & discussion class – This will be conducted by various teachers. Students will show-off their work and each student will have a chance to give comments or suggestions to the performers. The goal of this class is for our students to inspire and build confidence in one another.

•  Masterclasses – all students will have the opportunities to observe and ask questions in a masterclass setting. Select students will have the esteemed opportunity to perform for world-renowned artists. (fees will apply)
