Create • Collaborate • Have Fun
Next week, Vivace Music Discovery Camp 2026 at our Katy campus will invite students into a world filled with creativity and musical discovery.
During this one-week camp, young musicians will not only strengthen their musical skills, but also experience different musical cultures and artistic styles. Students will develop focus, creativity, teamwork, and stage presence while making new friends and learning from more of Vivace’s outstanding professional faculty.
This year’s camp will be taught by Vivace International School of Music faculty members Mr. Marlon Simon, Ms. Sayaka Seki, Mr. Milbert Tumaliuan, Ms. Sophia Liu, Mr. YeeJin Yuk, and Mr. Erick Simon, who will bring students a rich and diverse range of musical experiences.
The DJ Basics class and the Focus & Resilience Workshop are open to all interested participants as observation and introductory sessions.

Featured Camp Classes
🎼 Ensemble Coaching with Mr. Marlon Simon
Students will learn how musicians playing different instruments listen, communicate, and work together. Through ensemble playing, they will strengthen their musical expression, rhythmic awareness, and teamwork skills.
🎹 Ear Training & Music Theory with Ms. Sayaka Seki
Through engaging and interactive exercises, students will develop stronger musical listening skills and build a solid foundation in music theory.
🎶 Improvisation Workshop with Ms. Sophia Liu
This introduction to improvisation encourages students to express themselves confidently, interact with other musicians, and experience the excitement of creating music in the moment.
🎧 DJ Basics with Mr. Milbert Tumaliuan
Students will be introduced to basic DJ techniques and experience music mixing, rhythm, and beat-based creation while discovering the excitement of modern music production.
🧠 Focus & Resilience Workshop with Mr. YeeJin Yuk
Using research-supported mind-body techniques, students will learn practical tools to improve focus, attention, consistency, and resilience, helping them develop a more stable and effective approach to learning and performance.
🥁 Rhythm Workshop with Mr. Erick Simon
Students will explore the power of rhythm through movement, body percussion, and percussion activities while developing a stronger and more natural sense of pulse.
🎹 Practice Time
Students will have dedicated practice time each day to reinforce what they have learned, with guidance and support from the faculty.
🌟 Student Showcase
On the final day of camp, students will present what they have learned and share a week of musical growth and discovery with their families.

Additional Programs
In the following weeks, Vivace will also offer additional programs at our Sugar Land and Houston Dun Huang Plaza campuses, including a Beginning Violin Camp, additional Music Discovery Camps, and other special activities.
Groups of three or more students registering together may receive a waived registration fee and priority consideration when scheduling program times.
Vivace will also be opening new Pipa and Guzheng group classes at our Sugar Land campus, taught by Ms. Wu. Please contact us soon for additional information.
