2026 Texas All-State Audition Masterclass with Dr. Lin He | Vivace International School of Music
To help violin students prepare for the 2026 Texas All-State Audition, Vivace International School of Music is pleased to present an exclusive All-State Audition Masterclass led by Dr. Lin He, Associate Professor of Violin at Louisiana State University and Associate Concertmaster of the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra.
Born into a family of violinists, Dr. He was appointed as a first violinist with the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra while still a student. He later studied with the legendary violinist Zvi Zeitlin and earned his Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the Eastman School of Music. Dr. He made his Carnegie Hall solo debut in 2014 and has since appeared as a soloist, recitalist, and master teacher throughout the United States, Canada, China, and Europe. He has also served as an adjudicator for numerous prestigious competitions and brings extensive experience in performance, teaching, and audition preparation.
This masterclass will focus specifically on the 2026 Texas All-State Audition repertoire. Students will receive individualized coaching on technique, musical interpretation, tone production, rhythm, style, and overall audition performance to help them prepare more effectively for this year's All-State auditions.

Format: Public Masterclass (30-minute individual lesson)
Tuition: $70 per participant
Participants: Limited to 6 violinists
Observer Admission: $5 per person

This masterclass is open to all violin students preparing for the Texas All-State Audition, including both Vivace and non-Vivace students.
To apply, please email the following information to info@VivaceMusic.org as soon as possible. Dr. Lin He will personally select the six participantsbased on their audition recordings.
