Originally from Tucson, Arizona, Seth Edward-Sohn Freeman is a graduate of Rice University’s Master of Music program. He is an active teacher and freelancer in the Houston area and is a substitute violinist with the Houston Symphony. He completed his Bachelor of Music degree at the Cleveland Institute of Music.  His major teachers include Kenneth Goldsmith and Paul Kantor.   Summer festivals include Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, Artosphere, Music Masters Course Japan, Kent/Blossom Music, ENCORE School for Strings, Spoleto Festival USA, Britten-Pears Orchestra and Colorado College Summer Music Festival.  Seth plays a 2003 violin made by Daniel Karinkanta.
