Roman Cisneros

Clarinet Faculty

Roman Cisneros is currently one of the most sought after artist teachers in the Houston area. Mr. Cisneros holds three degrees from the Eastman School of Music where he studied under the guidance of Jon Manasse. Shortly after graduation, he won a position with the 3rd National Tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera, and played every major city in the US and Canada. In addition, he has toured Japan 13 times as 2nd clarinetist with the New York Symphonic Ensemble.

Since returning to the Houston area, Mr. Cisneros has been a frequent guest with the Houston Symphony, Houston Ballet, Houston Grand Opera, Greenbriar Chamber Players, and Theater Under the Stars. In addition, he maintains a diverse studio of students throughout the city and regularly coaches sectionals at schools such as HSPVA. In 2015, he was invited to participate in the Vandoren Reed Company's Regional Artist Program which aims to enhance the quality of musical experience through education. Through this program, he has represented the Vandoren Reed Company at numerous clarinet festivals throughout the country.
