Anton Igubnov

Pianist, composer, music researcher, educator.

Professor and musical performer with more than 20 years of international career, laureate of different international competitions, author of several educational programs and articles for music institutions, soloist of symphonic orchestras, international funds scholarship holder, state award holder.

He received his bachelor's degree from the Chopin College of Arts in Moscow (diploma with honor), then his master's degree (diploma with honor) and DMA from the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory.

Anton has won prizes in major competitions such as: the Grieg International Competition in Bergen (Norway), the International Piano Concerto Competition in Shenzhen (China), the Brahms International Competition (Austria) and others.

He worked at Moscow Conservatory in the Piano Department, as well as a visiting professor at Sakuyo University (Kurashiki, Japan).

As a bright representative of rich Russian piano school Anton mixes piano performing with composition. In 2018 he published his vocal cycle "The Gallery of Reflections", the dramaturgy for which is based on a cycle of the author's poems. In 2020 he completed an arrangement of the Symphonic Dances for Piano Solo by S. Rachmaninoff. Anton continues to be active as a composer, combining Western European traditions with the rich vocal culture of Russia.

Anton is active in creative and concert activities, giving concerts and master classes around the world, as well as at various international music festivals and forums.

Andrei Zimbalist

Andrei Zimbalist (Tcymbalistenko) is a talented virtuoso pianist who began studying music professionally at the age of 6 and received his Master's degree from legendary Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory (University) in 2013. His teacher was a Prof. Zinaida Ignatieva, a prizewinner of the very prestigious International Frédéric Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw (1960) and a student of the outstanding Russian pianist and composer Samuil Feinberg.Andrei is a prizewinner at the following international piano competitions: Classical Legacy in Moscow (1st prize); Frédéric Chopin Competition in Petrozavodsk (Russia, grand prix); Jeunes Talents in Montrond-les-Bains (France, 1st prize); Carl Filtsch Competition in Sibiu (Romania, 1st prize); the competitions in Königs Wusterhausen (Young Piano Stars) and in Troisdorf (Germany, 1st prizes at both), as well as the competitions in Milan (Piano Talents) and in Ischia (Italy, 3rd and 2nd prizes respectively). He is also a diploma winner at the competitions in Lagny-sur-Marne, Lyon and Valence (France); special prize at the competition in Valence (Teresa Llacuna) for the performance of Liszt’s transcription of Schubert’s Erlkönig.Andrei performs his solo recitals at the Moscow Conservatory concert halls on a regular basis, as well as performs concerts and teaches master classes in Russia, France, Germany, Italy, Romania, Spain and other countries. He has performed with the Kaluga Youth Symphony Orchestra (Russia) and the Obninsk Municipal Chamber Orchestra (Kaluga Region). He participates at various international music festivals and serves as a jury member at international piano competitions. He prefers to perform the repertoire of Western European Romanticism, especially pieces by Chopin, Schumann and Liszt.

Like many representatives of the famous Russian school of solo piano performance, Andrei successfully combines performing on stage and teaching in his creative and professional activities. He believes that these two aspects of being a musician are inextricably linked and complement each other. Andrei passes on to his students the best techniques and secrets of the Russian school of piano playing, the founders of which were the great pianists Rachmaninov, Scriabin, Medtner and the Rubinstein brothers. One of the outstanding achievements of Andrei’s career is his work at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory (University) as an Assistant Professor of the Faculty of Solo Piano Performance.
